Bonnie Jo "Live" On the Concerto! The musical selections of Blessings at Christmas were arranged and performed by one musician using one musical instrument. Absolutley no multi-tracking whatsoever, nor pre-recorded music soundtracks of any kind, were utilized throughout the recording process. The performing medium is a digital accordion which uses optical sensors to effect sampled wave forms. These song arrangements have been achieved by the musical skills of the performing artist who used various features of the instrument. Respective of the many music time periods represented here, a variety of musical instrumentation settings have been selected in the desire to reflect a more realistic interpretation of the different songs' origins, and/or the composers intentions and styles. |
